Keeping you, the public and our teams safe

Safety is Bear Scaffolding's number one priority. Whilst erecting, working on or taking down any scaffolding, we ensure we are operating as safely as possible. All current legislation is followed to the letter, and any required forms and surveys are completed prior to and during work as and when required.

Safety compliant scaffolding is required for a whole range of projects from domestic repairs to refurbishments and large-scale projects. It is important that a safe working environment is created from the very start for everyone involved, as well as passers by.

Our team is CHAS and SafeContractor approved, and we make sure everyone we employ is kept up-to-date with the latest safety and operational regulations. Based in West Byfleet our team can safely operate throughout the wider area.

We comply with all current regulations

All our scaffold installations comply fully with current regulations, laws and guidelines. The relevant regulations and organisations are:
  • Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
  • The Health and Safety Work Regulation of 2005
  • The Work at Height Regulation of 2005
  • The Construction Health, Safety and Welfare Regulations of 1996
  • In addition, we are CITB trained, and regularly attend refresher courses to make sure we're being as safe as possible
